- I have a Present for You in The Toilet Bowl -

So more problems ahead : This is part of an email telling my Level Head about my situation. Its here for all your viewing displeasure!

The flat i'm living in with my sister right now doesn't have any water coming out of the taps or showers...been without water since sunday morning 14th May. We have been calling the new landlords [rent-me] who have bought over the property recently [The previous landlord,Granada, sold it to them as the Leeds branch ran off with the money ] keep bouncing us back and forth between the water company as I dont think they really want to fix the problem.

Currently we have been without water for 5 days. the water company came yesterday and determined that the problem is because of a broken pipe.

[ Some background : I'm in Flat 8 and sharing water supply with flat 9 . Both water meters for both flats are in flat 9 and this broken pipe is in flat 9 as well. Plus we are the only 2 flats in the building who are on the old original lead piping system.]

The water company plumbers said that the broken pipe is so old that they don't even have the equipment to fix it! * gasp!* . And because its an internal job, it is Rent-me's responsibility to fix it, not their's...

My sister [ 2nd year microbiologist ] and I have been running off to the sports centre every 2-3 days for showers... like fugitives! heh.

After yesterday, the the toilets stopped flushing and right now i haven't figured out what we are going to do if we need to go to the toilet....
[ hmmm this could mean more trips to the department for unofficial 'business'...]

Clearly this couldn't have happened at a better time - during the exams!

Its a major factor right now and for it to happen during the exams is just so
inconvenient and fustrating to say the least.

Ever since moving in here we've been having water problems. eg no water at 8am in the morning etc... so we take showers at 4am when there IS water. Gotten used to that kind of weird lifestyle . BUt having no water is just..... insane!

WTF?

So on thursday i had my last lecture ever as an undergrad... sigh it felt like the longest lecture ever.. wat a naff way to end huh...

oh and we found out that some of our lecturers are on strike [backgroung info : some academics in the Uni are wanting a pay raise so decide to strike - refuse to matk /set exam questions] ok so anyway if these lecturers dont mark out work, how the hell are we supposed to graduate???? oh they set the exam questions in Feb , way before all this nonsence so exams will go ahead...
good or bad? i dont know.

Anyway 2 more weeks to exams .. so many things to study bloody biochemistry --why must u be such a bitch!? *excuse me*
PLus i have seem to have lost my motivation to work.. just wanna laze about....
